At this year's meeting (February 11-17) of the US and Canadian chapters of the International Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers (IAML) Dr. Alfred R. Kriegler gave a much noticed speech on custodial procedures with special emphasis on their psychological aspects. Dr. Alfred R. Kriegler was invited to this important international symposium not only as an expert in family law from Austria but also as the current president of of the European chapters of the IAML. This not only represents an honor to him as an expert but, of course, also an appreciation of Austrian jurisprudence and local know-how.
