This year's meeting of the European Chapters of the International Association of Matrimonial Lawyers (IAML) took place on the island of Crete. During the meeting the Presidency of the IAML was bestowed on the Austrian family law expert Dr. Alfred R. Kriegler for a two year term.

This is a great honor for Austria and Dr. Alfred R. Kriegler's international achievements. He is the first Austrian ever to hold that prestigious office. The IAML has more than 600 members world-wide, all of whom are the creme de la creme of the family lawyers in their countries. Naturally, Dr. Alfred R. Kriegler will preside over the next world congress of the organization in Salzburg, Austria.
